In 2010, Christian Sanders obtained his bachelor's degree from the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen. In 2015, he successfully completed his master's studies at the Utrecht Conservatory with a grade of 9+, under the guidance of Klara Würtz. During this period, he performed Johannes Brahms' Second Piano Concerto with the USC (Utrechtsch Studenten Concert) under the direction of Bas Pollard.

Subsequently, he pursued further studies at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität Wien, where he developed as a performing musician and achieved the prestigious Certificate of Performance Program. Christian participated in various music festivals and received awards at international competitions, including the Grand Prix at Stars of Tenerife in 2017 and the Schubert Prize at the International Rosario Concours in Vienna in 2017. Additionally, he received the award for the best performance of Schubert during the International Rosario Concours in 2019.

Christian has remarkable performances to his credit, including venues such as the Oosterpoort (Groningen), the Austrian Embassy in Bratislava, the Gustav Klimt Museum, and the Bösendorfer Salon in Vienna.

Collaborating nationally and internationally with several professional musicians, Christian also sells his own CDs featuring compositions by Schubert, including a collection of Schubert sonatas and Impromptus. The complete CD and DVD collection of the Schubert
